5) Petriwood is a wood preservative that actually removes all of the moisture in the wood and seals it so water can not soak in.
6) Sikkens is an oil that we have used with great success, it goes on easily and last for years. One can still see the grain of the wood beneath the stain and know it is still sealed. I put Petriwood on 1st, let it set for 4 days and then stain it. This has been working great because no moisture can get in and blister off the stain. |
