Hello, I am James Kohls, owner of Kohls Woodworking. I have been building and designing products and projects with wood for many years. Most of these items have been built for family and friends. I still have a full time job besides building furniture in the evenings and on weekends. I have built my business on selling products at a wholesale price to business'' and retail to customers that we met at shows or by word of mouth. I also have built custom made orders, they give me a picture, some dimensions, or an idea of what they want and I take it from there. |
| I have been lucky to get some great help from my family, Chris my wife, Justin my son, Melissa and her husband Nyles, Melissa does my bookkeeping,and their 2 daughters Isabella and Madilyn. I even got help from my dad, Marlin and also from my father-inlaw Russ. Thanks to these people I have been able to fulfill my orders on time. |

My 1st year doing this business has been a great success, I did not think I would have been this busy, I had built over 125 pieces. Its been fun and rewarding. I take great pride in what I build for folks. I am not satisfied with the product unless my customer is satisfied. I am looking forward to ''09 with some new products and new endeavors starting.
